The President of Kyrgyzstan: We are facing the most serious economic crisis in the past years

Kyrgyz President Sadir Jabarov said that the Kyrgyz economy is experiencing the most serious crisis in the past years.

"The economy is facing the most dangerous situation during the past years, and the budget deficit has reached 20 billion sum (approximately $ 235 million)," Jabarov said - in remarks carried by the Russian news agency TASS.

He added that in the midst of the ongoing Corona (Covid-19) pandemic, the Central Asian Republic has failed to fully restore trade and economic relations with other countries.

Jabarov expressed his hope that the country would be able to overcome the current economic crisis.
