Pakistan allows citizens of 30 years and over to register to receive the Corona vaccine


Pakistan has announced the start of allowing citizens of 30 years of age and over to register to receive the Coronavirus vaccine.


The Pakistani channel (Junews) reported today, Sunday, that Pakistan began vaccinating citizens from 40 to 49 years old against the Corona virus on May 3, indicating that the opening for registration for this age group had started since April 27, while it is underway. Currently, people over 5 years old can be directly vaccinated without registration.


Last Thursday, the World Bank agreed to provide $ 153 million to support the national vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus that is currently underway in Pakistan in an effort to help the country fight the pandemic.


It is noteworthy that, since the beginning of the pandemic, Pakistan has recorded a total of 877,130 confirmed cases of the virus, and 19,543 deaths due to infection with the virus.


According to the National Center for Monitoring Coronavirus Developments of the Pakistani Ministry of Health, 3 million 836 thousand and 291 vaccine doses have been distributed across the country, and the number of people who have been fully vaccinated in Pakistan has so far reached 964,227 people.
