Syrian Foreign Minister: We are ready for whatever Palestine requires

Syrian Foreign Minister Faysal Al-Miqdad, during a meeting with the Director General of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Anwar Abdel-Hadi, said that the Palestinian people are not strange for them to perform miracles.

According to Russia Today, Al-Miqdad added that the confrontation with Israel was a miracle in front of the Israeli military machine.

"We are ready for whatever Palestine asks for, because Palestine is our first and central issue," he said.

Al-Miqdad saluted the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, stressing that Syria would spare no effort to stand by the Palestinian people in their legitimate and national struggle.

He pointed out that this struggle "exposed the nakedness of the typists and those who surrendered, and exposed the nakedness of those who claim freedom and rights of peoples in this failed international community that is biased towards the strongest and those who possess arms, unfortunately."

And he added, "The day will come when we will win together, because we in Syria have faced terrorism supported by Israel, and you are facing Israeli terrorism, and we are in one trench, and we are one people."

For his part, Abd al-Hadi pointed out that on this year's anniversary of the Nakba, the steadfast Palestinian people began to shake off the dust of the Nakba on their behalf through this historical epic to confront this racist and fascist occupation and confront it with all means.

In this context, the UN Security Council will hold, today, Sunday, an open public session with the participation of a large number of foreign ministers, including the Palestinian minister, to discuss developments in the situation in the Palestinian territories.
