Italy imposes a ban on entry for travelers from Bangladesh

The Italian authorities imposed a ban on entry for travelers arriving from Bangladesh, in a move aimed at preventing the transmission of Corona infections from the Asian country hit by the virus.

The Italian Ministry of Health said in a statement that "the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, signed an executive order prohibiting entry from any border point for anyone who has resided in or passed through Bangladesh during the past 14 days."

Last week, a similar ban was imposed on travelers from India, and restrictions will be imposed on residents of Italy if they return.
