Al-Ahly club officials are awaiting the arrival of official offers from several European clubs, which expressed their “verbal” desire to include Malian midfielder Aliu Diang.
Despite the difficulty of agreeing to sell Diang after he became one of the most important elements in the ranks of the red team, the Al-Ahly administration wants an official offer to arrive in order to decide on it.
The last period witnessed the circulation of news about the desire of several clubs in Europe, French and Spanish, to include the star of the red genie, Aliu Diang.
The information received from within Al-Ahly indicates that the sale of Diang is linked to the strength of the European offer. If it is a large offer and will revive the club’s treasury, the player will be approved for sale.
Al-Ahly officials believe that selling Diang for a large amount will help the club to sign one or two high-caliber deals.
The team also has several elements that Al-Ahly hopes will be able to compensate for Diang's absence, whose level has clearly developed in the past period.
Al-Ahly is currently preparing to travel to Tunisia next Tuesday afternoon to face Esperance on June 19 in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
