Putin: Russia will continue efforts to normalize the situation on the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a telephone conversation with the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, affirmed that Russia will continue its efforts to normalize the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani borders.

According to a statement issued by the Russian Presidency Press Office (the Kremlin), the two sides expressed their interest in an urgent settlement of the border incident through negotiations, according to what was reported by the Russian agency Sputnik.
