Women's tennis team qualifies for the World Cup


The national tennis team for girls under 14 years of age succeeded in qualifying for the Junior Tennis World Cup after beating Kenya and Benin in the African qualifiers for the World Cup held in Egypt.

 

The tournament is held in a league system from one round, and the first and second qualify for the World Cup competitions in each yearly stage, male and female, and the competitions include four groups, one group for each age stage.

 

In the junior stage of 16, the group consists of Egypt, Tunisia, Namibia, Nigeria and Uganda, the stage of 16 junior women of Morocco, Egypt, Kenya and Cote d'Ivoire, the stage of the junior youth of Egypt, Tunisia, Nigeria and the stage of the junior junior stage of Egypt, Morocco, Kenya and Benin.

 

The technical meeting of the tournament was held in the presence of the Vice-President of the Tennis Federation and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Engineer Walid Sami, members of the Federation’s Board of Directors, Dr. Rashiqa Abu Shusha and Hassan Al-Arousi, the Director of the Tennis Federation Marwa Abdel Rahman, the Director of External Relations of the Federation Walaa Ali, the International General Referee Khaled Al-Sergany and the Assistant General Referee Ali Salah and coaches of the participating countries.

 

The general referee of the championship, Khaled Al-Sirjani, explained all the technical details of the matches, training, etc., and responded to all inquiries raised by the coaches representing the nine countries participating in the competitions.

 

During the technical meeting, it was stressed the need to implement all precautionary measures to the letter in accordance with the instructions and directives of the international, African and Egyptian federations, and that there will be no complacency in these measures at all, in the interest of public safety for all.
