The Brazilian national team arrived late today, Tuesday, in Asuncion, to face Paraguay in the eighth round of South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Brazil beat Ecuador 2-0 in the seventh round of South American qualifiers for the World Cup.
It is scheduled to meet the Brazilian national team with Paraguay at 2:30 am tomorrow, Wednesday, in the 8th round of the World Cup qualifiers.
Brazil played 5 matches in the South American qualifiers for the World Cup, and won in the five matches and scored 15 points, at the top of the qualifying group.
The samba team aims to break a 36-year knot against Paraguay, at the Asuncion stadium, since since 1985, Brazil has been defeated by Paraguay in two matches and drawn in the rest of the matches.
On the other hand, Brazil is preparing to compete in the Copa America 2021, at home, after the tournament was moved from Argentina and Colombia
