Radwa Sayed, the female karate player, qualifies for the Tokyo Olympics


Radwa Sayed, a player of the national karate team, succeeded in qualifying officially for the Tokyo Olympics 2021 in karate for the weight-55 kg through the continental quota, increasing the number of Egyptian players participating in the upcoming Olympics to 4 players out of 8 players.


Three karate players have reached the Tokyo Olympics, they are Gianna Farouk, Ali El-Sawy and Ferial Ashraf.

 

Mohamed Al-Dahrawi, head of the Karate Federation, had confirmed that an intensive training camp would be held for the three players during the coming period in order to compete for a medal in the Games.

 

Al-Dahrawi explained that the board of directors of the federation is fully confident in the capabilities and capabilities of our players in achieving an Olympic medal, especially in light of the unlimited support provided by the federation to the players.

 

The president of the federation indicated that a meeting will be held during the next few days to put the points on the letter regarding how to prepare the three qualified players for the Olympics and provide them with all amenities to achieve the ultimate goal of obtaining an Olympic medal.
