Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh, head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, held a meeting with the delegation of the Federal Public Service Council in the sisterly State of Iraq, headed by "Mahmoud Al-Tamimi", the head of the council, who is visiting Egypt to learn about the Egyptian experience in administrative reform and the experience of the Capacity Assessment Center and competitions in selecting new entrants to the state's administrative apparatus.
Dr. Salih renewed his welcome to the brotherly delegation of Iraq, stressing that Iraq has a civilization and a global and human enlightening role, and the people of civilizations' role is extended until God inherits the earth and those on it.
Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh reviewed the efforts of the Egyptian government in institutionalizing the administrative reform process and ensuring its sustainability, and the executive steps to reach an efficient, effective and adjudicated administrative apparatus that improves the management of state resources and increases citizen satisfaction, referring to the principles set by the government to implement the reform process, and the expansion of the use of information technology in Public administration and the services provided by the state’s administrative apparatus to citizens, as the citizen is the destination and goal of the reform processes.
He also reviewed the mechanisms for implementing Prime Minister Resolution No. 1146 of 2018 related to the new organizational divisions, namely strategic planning and policies, evaluation and follow-up, internal audit, human resources, information systems and digital transformation.
For his part, Mahmoud Al-Tamimi thanked the Egyptian state for the quick response to the request to be informed of their distinguished experience in administrative reform, and for their warm reception, expressing his hope that this visit would be a continuation of the fruitful cooperation and integration between the two sides, supported by the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.
The Chairman of the Council and his accompanying delegation inspected the Authority’s Capabilities and Competitions Assessment Center, and the experience of the center’s work system, praising it and securing it against any human interference or electronic attacks.
