Macron: The Sudanese revolution inspired the world and its youth to overthrow the tyrannical Bashir regime


French President Emmanuel Macron said that the Sudanese revolution inspired the world, stressing that Sudan is searching for freedom, peace and justice.


Macron added, in his speech at the Paris Conference in Support of the Transition Process in Sudan, Sudanese youths brought down the authoritarian regime of Bashir.


Macron directed his speech to the Sudanese people: You have shown the whole world that revolutions can be victorious with poems and songs.


The Conference to Support the Democratic Transition will be launched in Sudan in the midst of an international and Egyptian presence led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, French President Emmanuel Macron, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok and their accompanying delegation, which includes 31 Sudanese government officials.



A large number of countries, representatives from the United Nations and the European Union, businessmen and a large number of international, Arab and African organizations, in addition to 15 African presidents, and a number of senior European officials, in addition to representatives of a number of international financing institutions, headed by the African Development Bank and the director are also participating in the conference. Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgiev, President of the European Investment Bank Vernar Hoyar, President of the European Commission Ursula Wunderlein, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and a number of officials of European countries, the Group of Seven Big Industrial and the Group of Twenty.
