Details of the meeting of the Tourism and Aviation Ministers with the Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority


Today, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Pilot Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, met Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Supreme President and CEO of Emirates Airlines and the Group, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and aviation.

 

This came within the official meetings that were held on the sidelines of the participation of the ministers of tourism, antiquities and civil aviation in the activities of the 28th edition of the Arab Forum for Tourism and Travel ATM 2021, which will be held during the period from May 16-19 in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

 

Dr. Khaled Al-Anani began the meeting by congratulating His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum for the good organization and preparation witnessed by the Arab Forum for Tourism and Travel, referring to the experience of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates in containing the crisis of the Coronavirus pandemic and its repercussions and the efforts made by the two countries to recover the tourism sector in them. The two countries have a single approach and policy in resuming the tourism movement to their countries in light of the repercussions of this crisis, as they achieved the difficult equation between preserving and continuing the industry and preserving the health and safety of workers in the sector, citizens and tourists in each of them.

 

For his part, Pilot Muhammad Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, praised the success of the Arab Travel Exhibition, the Arab Forum for Tourism and Travel, and its exit in an honorable image worthy of the UAE, adding that Egypt and the UAE have close bilateral relations and enjoy a long history, as well as the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the fields of air transport Egypt is one of the most important commercial markets for the UAE, and the Minister of Aviation emphasized that Egypt and the UAE have taken many intensive precautionary measures to prevent Coronavirus in all airports and on board aircraft to maintain the health and safety of all travelers, as well as joint coordination between the two sides to activate air traffic between The two sister states are safe.

 

During the meeting, the Sheikh, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the Supreme President and CEO of Emirates Airlines and the Group, welcomed the two Egyptian ministers, expressing the Emirati people's love for Egypt and its people.
