The Afghan police announced, in an official statement, the killing of four worshipers and the wounding of more than 20 others, as a result of an explosion that occurred during Friday prayers inside the "Qalat Murad Bey" mosque in the "Shakir Dara" area, north of the capital, Kabul.
The Afghan TV "Touloua" reported, today, Friday, that a security official, who preferred not to be named, said that the imam of the mosque was among the wounded in the explosion .. Officials also reported that a bomb had been planted inside the mosque and caused the explosion.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the bomb attack.
It is reported that the Afghan government and the terrorist Taliban movement agreed to a three-day ceasefire truce on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, which began on Thursday.
