He was a member of the board of directors of the Al-Ahly club from 1975 to 1980 and a general supervisor of sports activity from 1985 to 1987, and general director of the Al-Ahly club from 1993 to 1998.

 

He was also the spokesman for the Al-Ahly club from 1993 to 1998, and he established the first administration in Egypt for sports marketing and investment in 2001, and he also became responsible for contracts in Al-Ahly for long periods.

 

He was responsible for the transfer of players and the application of the professional system in the Al-Ahly club, as well as a consultant for the football committee of the Al-Ahly club for professional affairs and player transfers.
