The Tunisian newspaper "Al-Anwar" published an investigation revealing the size of the wealth of the Speaker of Parliament and the leader of the Ennahda Movement, Rached Al-Ghannouchi, as it issued the list of the wealthy of Tunisia with a wealth of no less than 2700 billion dinars (one billion dollars). The newspaper mentioned in an investigation published on Friday under the title "Al-Anwar Opens Ghannouchi's wealth file "The wealth of the Tunisian politician amounted to about one billion dollars in the form of bank deposits located mainly in Switzerland, and stakes in companies located outside Tunisia, including 3 companies in France."
The newspaper said that this huge wealth is managed by a limited number of relatives of Rashid Al-Ghannouchi, including his two sons Moaz and Suhail, and his son-in-law, former Foreign Minister Rafik Abdel Salam, and the report indicated that mediation in the smuggling of weapons to Libya is also a tributary of the tributaries of Ghannouchi's wealth, which facilitated the passage of more than 20 A shipment of weapons to Libya for a commission of $ 30 million.
The newspaper revealed that the leader of the Ennahda Movement made a large part of his wealth thanks to the passport trade supervised by the former Secretary of State for Immigration, Hussein al-Jaziri, and annually achieved a turnover of transactions estimated at about $ 220 million, in addition to smuggling supervised by the leader of the movement and the current member of parliament, Mr. Al Furjani.
She pointed out that Al-Ghannouchi obtained through the smuggling of jihadists fantastic returns, explaining that he monopolized two basic functions, namely money and international relations.
The Tunisian newspaper stated that the data it published was based on data recently leaked by Qatar to the Egyptian government.
It is noteworthy that Karim Abdel Salam, the mastermind of the Bab Swaiqa operation and one of the youth leaders of Ennahda, confirmed the involvement of current leaders in the party in the violence dating back to the year 1991, which resulted in the burning of the guards at the headquarters of the ruling Democratic Constitutional Assembly at the time, in addition to the execution 3 young men from Al-Nahda, according to the Tunisian Radio website.
He added that the operation "was organized by the leaders of the movement and carried out by its youth," and he justified not returning to this hot file, and not searching for the remains of those executed during that period, with the involvement of some leaders of "Ennahda" in those events, explaining that the former Minister of Justice Noureddine Al-Buhairi did not raise this file. He accused current leaders of the Ennahda movement of planning and masterminding this terrorist operation, in an open confrontation with the regime of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, considering that the "Bab Sweika" operation was orchestrated, and that most of the movement's leaders were aware of its details.
Abd al-Salam confirmed that the secret apparatus of the Ennahda movement is still in existence, pointing out that the movement still maintains two organizations: one is a regular administrative structure, and another parallel includes an information department and a military apparatus that is closely, organically and directly linked with Ghannouchi.
